well, if she had not asked you to move out, would you still be doing this? you might have a case if you had a year-long lease but as long as she gave you at least 30 days' notice, there's nothing you can do. that is the very soul of the month-to-month rental strategy, which is basically all the advantages are to the LL. if anybody should be going after the LL it should be the two realty companies, since he was basically duplicating a listing.
