I have lived in a non-stabilized apartment for almost two years. Last year, my rent was increased 9%. My lease is up in October and my landlord wants to increase my rent again. How much more can he legally increase my rent? What are my rights? Will writing the management company a letter, asking them not to raise the rent as much as last year help? Thanks.
