a 10 day notice to cure means just that, you have 10 days to cure, and if the violation is not cured, LL will start court proceedings. He cannot legally lock you out. That is a major no-no. Keep whatever documentation which shows you have lived there more than 30 days on your person. If the locks are changed, go to the nearest police station and tell them you have been locked-that the landlord changed the locks-ask for a desk sergant and ask that they accompany you back to the apartment.
