The above poster signed his message "tenant@tenant.com" This is too close and confusing to tenant -at- tenant.net. While not appearing to be a deliberate attempt to confuse, it still isn't good. In the future, any message signed that is identical or close to "tenant -at- tenant.net" will be deleted.

: A holdover is not a serious violation. In a location where there is rent control or vacancy decontrol landlords claim that they have sold the premises as a way of circumventing rent regulations. The courts have found that the landlords conduct in these cases is illegal and refused to allow the evictions of the tenants. Holdover cases are considered by courts as not fault evictions.
