I also think that three months is a time period within which they renovated the apartment and so were then able to collect much more rent in this crazy market than the $745.18/month they were receiving from me. I want to get documentaion from the management company as to what exactly happened with the aprtment since the time I moved out - how much in rent they charged for the extent of my two year lease, when new tenants moved in, etc. I want to do it all legally going through the court but I'm not sure what the procedure is without a lawyer. I'm hoping I can get some advice.
: : Also, with regards to paying interest and legal fees - if judgement is against me, I don't think I should have to pay 6 years of interest or the legal fees. They had work information for me for a while and could have tried contacting me from there if they found there was a wrong doing on my part. I was under the impression I had done everything legally. I think I have about another 15 days to respond to the court. Is someone could point me in the right direction, I would be so thankful.
