while the LL has the right to enter his tenant's property, this constant badgering goes over the line. unless the LL can explain what he's doing on these 'inspections' his behavior amounts to harrassment and is no longer simply a LL/tenant dispute. especially if he is really saying he will 'break in' when you aren't there (a stupid thing for him to say since he must have a key). i'd ask him to produce something that would explain why he has to be in there so much and at odd times. you certainly have a right to know what he's doing. and if he can't explain himself, tell him that this behavior is threatening and you will have to press charges if he doesn't leave you alone. its just beyond a reasonable amount of trouble for you. the LL should be more accomodating, which leads me to believe he's a couple of sandwiches short of a picnic.
