: Luckily for me, DHCR never ruled on my case and I eventually withdrew it. You didn't say what kind of proceeding yours was, but it definitely seems grounds to object to the ruling.
Actually I have already objected to the ruling--something called a request to reconsider. The landlord made a filing and the DHCR ruled in his favor just about a month later--not even bothering to give me a chance to review the filing and object to it.
But requests to reconsider are rarely granted, so I'll probably have to file a PAR, and I will be prejudiced in my case if I don't have the landlord's filing.
The DHCR says I have to file an FOI request for a filing that I should have received in the first place! It is outrageous. I was wondering if there is any way of expediting this procedure.
