Whether you honored your lease.
Ability to get along with neighbors.
Known complaints made about you.
The reason for moving out.
The condition of the residency when you left.
Whether you would be eligible for another rental in the future.
Whether they would enthusiastically recommend you for a rental.

Check out some apt rental websites: this one has a page about other paperwork expected by landlords (note: I know nothing about the quality of their rental service...):
