Are you talking about getting rid of him because of a morality issue of yours (which is none of your business, by the way) or because he's not taking care of building business, such as coming in to fix a busted pipe in your apartment five minutes after you called on him?

At least you have a living super. Mine has been dead for several years yet his name still appears as the super in residence in the lobby. His wife still lives in the apartment although she doesn't do much except take out the garbage and sweep. She does no fixing and doesn't even change a damn lightbulb.

: i live in a big NYC coop in a rent regulated apt. we have a new superintendent. he is supposed to be in his free provided apt available 24 hours for emergencies. he sneaks out almost every night to go to his girlfriends and leaves behind his wife. The copp Board does not know about it. Isnt this illegal or cause for a rent reduction?
