LL may charge a Vacancy fee - 18% to 20% on top of the increase for the new tenant. This second amount I'm not sure of the percentage number. 4 or 6 percent currently when you sign rent stabilized lease.

: I am planning to sublet my friend's stablilized Brooklyn apartment which has 10 months remaining on his two year lease.

: What options will I have in so far as remaining in the apartment after his lease expires next year?

: What sorts of increases could the landlord require?
