If the Board has not acknowledged the situation, please check your by-laws, your lease, anything that you signed that will tell you of your tenant rights as a Mitchell-Lama tenant. Has no one answered you, not even the board of directors?

f you came across calm and polite in a short letter regarding your concerns to the board and not a three or ten page raving long flowing letter, I don't see how the board could have ignored your concern.

: I live in a Mitchell-Lama Co-0p. The tenants above me allow their
: children to play basketball at all hours of the day. I call
: security on them all the time. I document everytime they bounce
: the ball and throw it in the hoop. I have notified the Management
: office and the Bd of Directors. How can I hold out on paying
: the rent and present my case in front of a judge? Do I have
: the right to ask to me moved at the Corporation expense to another
: apartment on the complex?
: Thank you for all your help? The co-op is over 25 years old.
: It is located in Rockaway Beach, NY. Apt run from A-z. 12 Floors
: 5 Bldg.
