Call your landlord immediately and negotiate. If he hasn't yet rented the apartment, he may just let you stay, especially if he considers you a good tenant.


: I live in Brooklyn, no rent control. My lease automatically went month-to-month after the first year was up. On Feb. 28th I gave my landlord 30 days notice that I would be moving. I've decided not to move. What are my rights?
