YES...you can refuse to allow the lockbox and insist that any showing appointments be made through the listing Realtor. This is their job and don't allow them to put this burden on you. In return for allowing showings on shorter notice when you are not home, negotiate for no weekend or Sunday showings so that you can have your privacy. Also, if you don't want calls at all hours, insist that any appointment calls be made through Realtor and that they be the only one to call you - you don't have to allow your telephone number to be published in the Realtor MLS system.....Realtor for 30 years.....
