In addition to Ace's advice, it wouldn't hurt to enlist the services of a male friend, especially one who is very large. Invite him over to hang out, especially when you think you'll be in full view of the LL. Chances are, the LL will inquire as to whether he is your boyfriend, and you say "yes" in a very giddy tone. I have used this trick in the past, and it would probably work for you while you are saving for a new place.
