How long is the $850 rent guarnateed? That is one of the numerous unanswered questions here. How strong your case vs. the landlord's, the prejudice of the judge, the competence of your lawyer and the other side's, etc. etc.

You've plenty at stake, so if your case is strong, all things being equal, why not go to trial?

But no one on this board can give you advice, sight unseen.

P.S. It's too late, but posting info that can identify you is NOT a good idea. How do you know your landlord or his lawyer don't follow this board?
