Put in you anwser with couterclaims for (1)the rent for the month she did move out and (2)for all the months after she moved out when ,despite your good faith efforts, you were unable for find another roommate, and (3)the cost of re-painting the bathroom (get a cost estimate from the co-op owner) and take picture of the bathroom showing the red color. Yes, she should be suing the owner of the co-op in which you're living for the deposit. The security deposit is in the hands of whomever signed the lease as landlord/who you pay your rent to. The cost of repainting the bathroom would be taken out of her security deposit. You shoud be able to demonstrate that you made a good faith effort to find another roommate.
