If a tenant has not paid the rent yet for the month, is it allowed (outside NYC) for the landlord to continuously call tenant at tenant's place of work.
One call may be ok, but this is retail with customer service where it is very difficult when landlord repeatedly calls tenant when tenant has long line of customers.
In the same way that creditors can't "hound" people at work, is that also true of landlords? What should be the appropriate measures landlord can take if perhaps tenant does not have a phone and tenant has not paid the rent yet.
Just curious.
Thanks
