Is it landlords in general you object to or just anyone in authority? Do you send all your creditors a letter when you can't/won't/or just don't wanna pay what you legally owe? If you're so unhappy, go out in the wilderness, pitch a tent and learn the hard way to live off the land!

: No disrespect intended. But, I don't think people are reacting strongly enough to the situation's gravity.

:
: : We don't disagree with many of your conclusions and that tenants almost deserve what they get unless they get in the streets, but let's take the tone of any such discussion away from personal threats, whether or not you meant anything or whether or not anyone misread what you intended.

: : : What have all of you accomplished with your cowardly complacency? In the 10 years I've lived in New York, rents have tripled and the real estate industry has tightened its dictatorial power. Economic genocide is taking place in this city. When other countries displace people from their homes they face NATO bombings. Here they get carte blanche. Direct action is needed. We should picket and disrupt real estate offices. Stage actions at landlords's homes. Also you should read more carefully. I never threatened anyone with death. I said anyone who threatens me or tries to drive me from my home will be killed. The same way that anyone who threatens me on the street will be killed. The housing situation in New York would not be tolerated in any other developed country. It will continue as long as people remain servile cowards.
