Hi all! I've lived in this really cute apt for 10 month (the lease is for a year) when my landlord suddenly came up to me and said that i owe her $200, extra for the rent... HOw she explaned it? Her "Husband" wrote a lease, and made a mistake instead of $770/month, he wrote $750. ANd now she tells me that i knew the whole time, that me and my husband are scamming her of the $20... I told her that i'm not gonig to pay her $200, for HER mistakes, so now she asks that in January we pay 770, though in a lease it says 750, and it's till March! I was wondering if there is anything we, as a renters can do, to stop that griddy woman? Please let me know what you guys think!
