I am renting from a man who is currently being foreclosed on. I do not have a lease. I do have a disabled husband and two kids. The landlord has a court date of Jan 19 for the foreclosure of the house I am living in and renting from him. I am listed as a defendant on the proceedings as aka. Jane Doe. My rent is due today and I need to know what my right are. I was never informed that the proceedings had progressed this far. Is the bank able to throw me into the streets come the 19th if their foreclosure is granted? I am in desperate need of answers. Someone please advise.
