Noisy Tenant Upstairs

Posted by Dawn on January 03, 2001 at 14:46:38:

Dawn: Although I appreciate your feedback to my Noisy Tenant situation, I am afraid I have tried letters, bell ringing, fiance trying to talk to her, etc. Supposedly, the landlord is going to serve her with a Notice to Cure, but he does not know when his attorney will get to it. She advised the landlord that she spoke to her attorney and he advised her that she does not have to refrain from using the stairmaster, so that if the stairmaster bothered me, then that was my problem. I am totally frustrated and would like to know if there is something legally that I can do to end this intrusion of "quiet enjoyment" of my apartment. It has become uninhabitable.
