There was a very brief news item today stating that "thousands" of evictions are about to take place in Williamsburg and DUMBO, targeting folks who live in converted industrial and commercial spaces. Is there anywhere I can go to find more information about this? Also, I assume there are no tenant protections in Brooklyn for those living and working in a space under a commercial lease. The Loft Law doesn't apply here (except for a very, very few) Is that the case? Thanks very much!
