: Greetings
: After a notice to pay back rent, the landlord stoped by on the 5th day (tues, Nov 21 5pm) and served me with a disposess notice with 3 days to turn over possesion of the property on Nov 24th. From what I've managed to find on the web, the 3 day notice is right. But is that three 24 periods or three business days...? ie. not including Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays. It was a very rushed move with Thanksgiving in the middle with all my friends and relatives on the road for the holiday.

3 days means 3 24-hour periods, 3 business days, 3 court-open days: depends on exactly what the law says and if it only says 'days', then depends also on how your state courts interpret that.
