Hi - as a coop person who rents a room i ask you ; why creat trouble? you agreed to rent the room and you paid w3hatever you paids and now it sounds like you are restless and may really do the right thing for yourself and move. why create trouble and stress for the owner of the apartment? You made a committment to rent a room and now it just sounds like you want some kind of revenge for something. I doubt you have any rights but why even ask that? Just do the right asnd the nicest and the least stressful thing for all and find a new place where you wont be unhappy.
