Landlord not repairing after court orders repairs

Posted by Tramar on November 04, 2000 at 10:12:10:

Hi. Here we go again.

My fiance and I had a case of succession rights with our landlord's representative agent. To make a long story short, the case was thrown out of court in our favor. Our rent is $400 because that is what her aunt use to pay (who passed on).

Now, even after the court ordered him to do repairs, he still won't do it because he wants us to pay more money. What can we do? We started n HPD action against him. The court said that he has a certain time to do it. Now he passed those times. When does this become criminal? The court has started fines against him. However, how do we know if he has to pay or not? Can he get arrested for this? Should we retain our Real Estate lawyer again or is there a different type of lawyer we need? Please help!
