alexandria va owner condo shared w/ roommate who wants to sue

Posted by Geraldine on October 23, 2000 at 13:13:58:

I recently bought a condo. I have a roommate (verbal agreement month to month).
Her car was towed. Towing company has 24 hour patroll rights. She wants to sue the management company for not providing adequate parking. Does she have any rights? If she loses in her suit, can the management company charge their legal fees back to me (the unit owner)?.

Parking Rules were not provided to us when parking stickers were issued. Rules are Blue sticker parks in resident only. Red sticker parks in guest only. If there is no spaces left - you should park in the street. She parked in resident since no space was available and she was towed that night. I drove her to the towing company in another city the next morning. We both were late for work. She is angry and plans to sue the management company. I think I will end up getting charged for the Mgt. companies legal fees?

Any advise would be appreciated.
