Try looking at the Housing Court summaries on Tenant.net if you haven't already looked. Also, there was a lively discussion of illusory tenancy on this forum in early August of this year, so you could check that out in the archives by searching "illusory." Perhaps Hawk, who seemed to know quite a bit about it, is hovering overhead and will swoop down and deposit some droppings of insight.
