When moving into our apartment my roomates and I paid a pretty hefty deposit. We were told we could receive a portion of this deposit back after we established a good standing payment history of roughly 6 months of our 1 year lease. We have an excellent payment history now of 11 months to date. When I inquired about receiving a portion of our deposit back last week (to aid us in our next move) I was told that giving partial refunds is not their policy any longer and the chances were slim of any exceptions. Is there anything I can do?
I'd really appreciate anyones input.
