My landlord insisted we sign a lease starting September 15, but as of October 2 it is still not livable. Stairs need to be added, appliances hooked up, rubble cleared out, etc. My roommates and I have nowhere to live. Do we have any rights to compensation as we continue to wait for the apartment to be ready?
