This forum is not the place to have an extended dialogue over the pros and cons of rent regulations. A little bit is OK, but we don't allow ongoing arguments. This has been this board's policy since it opened, and Usenet is a better place for that, simply because most people who opine on the matter have no clue to that which they are talking about and it can easily consume a board.

Having said that, the article in on a landlord web site and signed by the RSA and REBNY, the two largest NYC landlord/developer organizations. H.A. must be about as concerned for tenants as Rudy cares about the victims of the police. Nuf said.
