you must have been very desperate to move into that situation.... I wonder how long you lived without a toilet ??? The amount of time you did determined why the landlord would only allow you $25 credit... it must have been for a long time... he sized you up and knew how far he can push you......
the situation that you describe boggles the mind..... you moved in there with full knowledge of the problems that you would face.... how much is the full rent and what did they charge you during the time you had to use another apt for a toilet and workers were walking in and out of your apt and you had no toilet period ?? did they charge you the full rent for that time and NOW you want something off ?? if you were willing to pay the full rent during that time, the landlord used that to size you up as well... what toilet did you use when you had none ??? I feel sorry for you....
when you dance with the devil you can't complain if he steps on your foot...
