Don't let her or the cop in. Simply slide a copy (A COPY) of the lease under the door to the cop. Neither a cop or your girlfriend have the right to enter if you do not want them to if they do not have a warrant or an order. NO MATTER what the cop says to you through the door you absolutely do not have to open the door. As far as the personal stuff that's your buisness. NOW I am assuming her name is not on the lease. (Right?)

I have actually seen this happen, the cop will have no choice but to tell her that the situation is beyond his jurisdiction and she will have to settle it in civil or housing court. The cop can not forcible enter the apartment to allow your girlfriend entry. Unless she is on the lease.
