I live in Montgomery County Maryland and my landlord evicted me and is now taking me to Civil Court to pay for damages estimating $6,000 (A lie!). My question is, what if I ignore this and don't show up in court? What could happen to me? Also, a summons was served to my 17 year old son, not to me personally. What should I do?
