Thats what his one month security deposit is for, and since he damaged the apartment floor which is more then the security he left you..since you had to use it for the months rent, you will have to take pictures of the damage and sue him in smal claims court......or the landlord will charge it against YOUR security deposit.

: I assume that all roomates are legaly obliged to give a 30 day notice. I have one that moved out with no notice leaving me stuck fo the full month. He also damaged the room - the floor - in a coop apartment.What can i do?
