thanks. I am not sure if you were being candid or being frank. Well, what if the guy's pissed I took his things?

What I want to know is, in a legal framework,... does security deposit mean I can take "stuff" from the apartment?
What I mean is, since a secruity deposit is taken to ensure that all damages will be paid for upon a tenant's departure, Does that mean that I can do "the damage" if I am not getting my security deposit back?
