I am well aware of what it says here, just as aware as I am of what my attorney told me. By the way, terminating a month-to-month tenancy is not eviction, you have to go to court for that. Terminating a month-to-month tenancy is simply asking the person to leave on good terms for your own purposes. Eviction is a completely different matter.

: : The reply that I posted to this I got straight from a landlord/tenant attorney. I did not make this up.

: : See my reply to the orginal question.

: Regina please look up www.tenant.net/Other_Laws/RPL/rplo7.text
: go to section 232a. This section explains terminating a month to month tenancy in New York City.It seems to me it is 30 days notice as Ed said.
: Of course I may be "mistaken" also but I looked it up because Im a landlord looking to evict a tenant(see my posting on 08/27).
