Need advice? Just moved in to a 4 family building. The lights on the 1st & second floor landings are on a timer.Lights on @7:30PM.The other day we had a summer storm darkness, rain etc.My son almost fell down the stairs due to the darkness in the building.I reported this to my new landlord and his response was "This is why I have insurance!" Well I used every ounce of strength I had to restrain myself.He also told me he never had a complaint before I moved in. This comes to my next problem: The tenants down by the other hallway light are so drunk and stoned (Pot) this smell is getting the family sick!~ location is Queens, New York. Thanks in advance. We plan to move after our 1 year lease is up...next July 01
