I don't know where else to go or find information, so here it goes.

I live in a one bedroom in Spanish Harlem. My lease comes up September 1st, 2000. My current Rent under my old lease is $925 and they are saying that to stay in the same apt, the rent will go up to $1095. This is over a 15% increase. Last year it only went from $875 to $925 (only a 5% increase). The apartment is not rent stablized, but are there limits to the amount they can increase the lease? Please let me know!!!!! THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
