I have a question: We went away on vacation for one week and notified are landlord of our absence only to come home and find out (from my mother who was taking care of our cats) that the landlord had entered our home with a real estate agent to obtain a quote on what the residence was worth if they were to sell it. We were unaware of the fact that they were interested in selling the residence and even more importantly, we were unaware of the fact that they were going to be entering our home regardless of the fact that we were on vacation. Our lease states that the tenant will be given 24hour notice before the residence will be entered by either a real estate agent or prospective tenants. What are our rights and what should we do about this? Any advice please respond.
Thank you!
