But I don't think the explanations you've come up with are correct. PECO did make meter readings each month for at least the past few months, and found our average electricity use to be 8 - 10 kwh's per day. In June the average rate was 56 kwh's per day. Our landlord says the only way that could be correct is if the air conditioner got stuck on (which is has not). She thinks the meter is broken, but PECO came and checked it and said it was working fine. Our landlord says to call PECO and file a complaint. But the PECO people say that all they will do if we do that is send another guy out to check the meter (and say it's working fine). Do I have any legal rights in this situation? The landlord and the electric company seem to be blaiming each other and no one is taking responsibility.
