I think the general rule in any eviction situation is that you really
need a lawyer, lest you be creamed in court and socked with your landlord's
attorney's fees.
If there is an attorney fee clause in your lease--I assume this is NY--it will
work in your favor if you prevail. Based on what your saying, this person
seems to have a good chance of winning.
But really, since time is of the essence, you shouldn't be on this board
dealing with idiots asking if your mother is sleeping with this person.
You should get a lawyer pronto.
