Yes you will have to go to court NO MATTER what you do.......

My advice is tonight buy 2 of those dispoable cameras take lots of pictures of the needed repair...run down to your local ONE HOUR photo place and get them developed....make an extra set....

Then show the pictures to the Judge on wednesday....And have a check ready for the full amount if the judge says so...That is your only way out of this....Not much time....must be done by tomorrow night!

: I live in the state of Maryland (Montgomery County). My landlord refused to do repairs so, I did a stop payment on the June rent check so that I can do the repairs myself. Now, she's taking me to court. I have my court date on Wednesday. My question is, should I reverse the stop payment before the court date, or just take a new check with me to court. Or, if I mail a replacement check certified mail today, do I even have to go to court?
