Just have her call the landlord to add you to the lease. You may have to pay a fee, but that is it. Some landlords refuse to add another person if the leased apartment is either a studio or a one bedroom. To avoid taking in additional tenants.

: i have been living in nyc for 3 yrs. all with the same woman. only her name is on the stabilized lease. can i get on the lease/what do i need to do(if possible) to become domestic partners? is it easier just to get married?
