i lived in a rent stabilised apt in brooklyn 55 92nd street...i was told i would not be getting a lease renewal as of april 2000, i stopped paying rent after the april date came and went the only time i could get anyone to help me move my possesions it was june the landlord took possesion of said apt and confiscated all my personal belongings and now refuses to give them back to me can he stael all my stuff?wat rights do i have to my personal property wich he now has in his possesion?
