Multiple tennants ...some that never leave even..go home please :) HELP

Posted by Jon on June 23, 2000 at 22:55:18:

I would Appreciate a link or something concrete either way in regards to the law. This is the situation we live in a 4 bedroom house which houses myself and 3 other individuals. When me and 1 of the other roomates moved in it was "understood" that there was 2 people total living in the household at the time (not including us)and would be 4 total. For the last 4 months two of the individuals have been having their girlfriend/boyfriend's living there. To the question.. is there anything eitheir implied or written in the laws in relation to having more people occupying the household then was initially implied. The really bothersome thing is these "freeloaders" dont pay jack..yet seem to enjoy all the benefits of being an occupant. It's my belief they need to stay elsewhere or get on the lease. Any help is appreciated and the state the laws would apply to is Florida.
