This is sickening, the only landlords that are complaining about fuel increases and maintenance cost are the ones that own non-rent stabilized/rent controlled private homes. Large buildings in fact are being neglected and practically abandoned by managing agents, and I would like ask, what happened to the money they received from their last increase?
I think we should all go to housing court and start HP Actions on all the buildings that have been receiving Government finance support (section 8), welfare funded support and good old cash from their tenants. May be that 4 and 6 percent increase would be used fix things or force these landlords to provide services and repairs like they are supposed to.
