Landlord served with Foreclosure

Posted by Tonya Mayes on June 22, 2000 at 21:33:46:

I live in a private house in Queens, NY. The house is owed by a landlord who does not reside here. There are two other units in the house.
I have a lease that expired 4 years ago. (that's not the problem)

Question: Because my landlord was served with foreclosure papers, what are my rights? Do I continue paying rent? Am I supposed to be notified by them that there is a problem?
Please help!
