Pain and suffering? What is the basis for that?
I can see how you might have collected because your entry door was broken, but this person does not have a comparable situation.
Also, it seems to be the insurance company paid off because the landlord was responsible, not in spite of it. If the entrance doorway wasn't broken, if the landlord wasn't negligent, the insurance company would never have paid.
