NYC, rent stabilization situation: I remember reading a case where a landlord tried to claim that a tenant had resided in an apartment for only a number of weeks. The court or DHCR said such short term tenancy could not count for determining the first rent stabilized tenancy. Can anybody cite that case?? Thanks!
