OK you have a dog.its a BIGGGGGG DOGGGGGGGGG.......and YOU knew it would grow to over 50 lbs.and yet you still rented the apartment......

Have I got this right?

So on one hand I would say to get rid of the dog, on the other you will have to hire a lawyer to get an answer......

I would say the weight limit would override the 90 day pet clause...since you signed a lease with that clause in it.

If your dog is close like under 55 lbs...maybe you could slide by.....but 60 70 80lbs.......good luck.

: I live in a rental building in NYC (not controlled or stabilized). My lease says that I can have a dog but it has to be under 50 lbs. I moved in with my dog who is over that limit. I've been there for 4 months. The landlord has told me that I am in violation of my lease and I must get rid of my dog.

: What rights do I have?
